Groupy Calendar ("the App") is developed by Erez Cohen / E-REZULTS ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address for authentication and identification within your group. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides.
  • User ID: A unique identifier is assigned to your account to provide personalized app functionality.
  • Calendar data: Events, birthdays, comments, RSVPs, costs and group information you create are stored to provide the app's core functionality.
  • Content you submit to AI: Text, photos or voice recordings you choose to send to the optional AI event-creation feature (see below).

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the App's shared calendar functionality.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • To display your name, color and avatar to other members of your groups.
  • To send push notifications, reminders and digests (with your permission).
  • To determine your subscription entitlement and unlock Premium features.

AI Event Creation

The AI features are optional and run only when you actively use them. When you submit text, a photo or a voice recording to create an event, that content is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) solely to extract the event details (such as title, date, time and members). It is processed transiently to generate your event and is not used to build advertising profiles. See Google's privacy policy.

Payments & Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details — we only receive the transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock the features you purchased.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Your calendar data is only visible to members of the groups you belong to.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest, hosted in secure data centers. Access is protected by row-level security so members only see data for groups they belong to.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app or by contacting us.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy).
  • Google Gemini — AI processing for optional event creation (policies.google.com/privacy).
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple, push notifications and in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
